- When you print a large quantity of papers, check the remainder of the ink or status of the head by looking at the print outputs.
  - When you haven't used the printer for a long time, clean the head before print.
  - Replenish the color cartridge even when only one color is exhausted.
  - When you won't be using the printer for an extended period, keep the cartridge in a cartridge storage.    If your printer doesn't have one, wrap the head part with a plastic wrap to keep it from air contact.
  - Caution: Do NOT use general cellophane tape.
  - When the nozzle dried up after having been neglected for a long time, soak it in warm water of 40 to    50 °C, completely remove the water from the cartridge, install, clean the head, then use it.
    (It is very difficult to recover a damaged nozzle.)
